    This is the box top of a counter display box of 1938 Glenn Confections wax chewing gum "Whiskers". It was a combination wax mustache with goatee. On the back is printed the recommendations to separate this top from the box and display it in a window or other prominent place to attract attention to the product. It measures 8 1/8" x 7 5/8". This is the earliest dated Glenn Confections product that I've seen in over 30 years of my dealing with this sort of stuff. An ultra rare addition to any serious Glenn collection. There was a tear when I acquired this piece which I've since repaired. Free shipping too.
