    Description

    Black Swan statue which stands almost 10" tall was made in Japan around 1950.
    Country of origin identified on base with "Made in Japan" sticker.
    This swan is made from redware clay and is coated with a shiny black glaze and gold paint for beak and eye.
    Some of my pictures show a reddish tint in the glaze from reflection but the true color is pure black with no abrasions.
