The reason it is such an exceptional piece for night combat is due to the blade having a satin finish. Not only does it protect the blade in all types of weather but the finish has been darkened just enough to reduce glare. The drop point blade is constructed out of thick stainless steel, exactly 5mm thick. The handle is made of rubberized ABS making this a great all weather knife. Included is a hard ABS sheath with a nylon beltloop with a steel snap closure. The sheath also has several eyelets and slits to tie or strap the sheath onto your thigh. Night attacks by infantry can save lives and accomplish the mission at minimal cost.
