This ebay Buy-It-Now offering provides (1) "NEW-IN-BOX" Ingersoll Rand model 285B-6 1" drive extended length anvil impact wrench.
This item is 100% Ingersoll Rand OEM genuine factory complete as shown.
The maximum torque rating for reverse is 1475 foot pounds. This is an excellent general duty 1" drive tool by my observation. Heavy duty 1" drive tools providing torque values in excess of 1700 foot pounds or more are multiples in price.
This tool weighs about about 32 pounds shipping weight and 29 pounds bare.
The anvil has a hole for a locking pin to retain sockets as well as a 2-piece, 1" retaining ring kit installed.
I may oil and test your tool in forward and reverse before packing and shipping. I may also hand thread the side handle screws and verify the hammer case threads are clean and will allow the screws to thread by hand.

1. If you require the Ingersoll Rand product box and OEM packaging then I will only ship Fedex ground to your eBay registered address. You must have an accessible address for Fedex or UPS. No P.O. BOXES are accepted for delivery. There will be a signature requirement for acceptance. This means only the lower 48 states can receive this item with the IR product box and only by Fedex or UPS ground shipping and no P.O. boxes are allowed.
2. If you live in the lower 48 states, DO NOT require the IR product box and want Priority Air Mail; use the "NOTE TO SELLER" or eBay messaging system to inform me BEFORE I ship and I will use Air Mail instead of Fedex ground. You will not receive the IR Product box since it won't fit inside the USPS boxes I use.
3. If you live in: Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico and buy this item I will ship ONLY USPS Priority Large Flat Rate Box with internal double boxing. This means your P.O. Box address will be acceptable for final delivery. To ship this way, your new IR285B-6 tool MUST be partially disassembled with the anvil removed and packed next to the tool inside the box. You will have to put the anvil back into your tool and reassemble it when it arrives. You will not receive the IR product box because it cannot be folded to fit inside the 12" X 12" X 6" USPS Priority mail box. I will not ship the Ingersoll Rand product box separately under any circumstances.
4. Without any "NOTE TO SELLER" instructions or email communications through eBay addressing above concerns; I reserve the right to ship the cheapest way or whatever is available to me by way of your address. I will cancel your order if you do not read my instructions and ignore the concerns I present here when address and delivery issues you create for me arise.
5. International buyers have this item shipped to Kentucky for additional processing costs through the ebay Global Shipping Program. 31 pounds final shipping weight. I will REMOVE AND DISCARD the Ingersoll Rand product box and packing. I will double box and ship your tool only using a USPS Priority Air Mail Large Flat Rate box. This also means that you will receive a tool that is partially disassembled inside the box. You will have to reassemble the tool when it arrives. The box size will be 12" X 12" X 6".
