When initially released in 1997, these popular Spice Girls dolls became an instant hit all over the world. According to Wikipedia, the Spice Girls dolls are the best-selling celebrity dolls of all time.  The first Spice Girls dolls from the Girl Power series hit the market during the holiday season in 1997 and the supply turned out to be far less than the demand. The popular initial series is still favored by collectors but now competes with four other collections that were released within the following few years.  These five dolls from the inaugural set feature the original Spice Girls: Melanie Brown (Scary Spice), Melanie Chisholm (Sporty Spice), Emma Burton (Baby Spice), Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice), and Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice). These vintage dolls remain popular throughout the world.  The dolls are 12 inches tall, and each is housed in its sealed original box. They have never been removed from the boxes.
Each doll comes with a microphone and another one or two small items unique to that doll.
