We bought this cleaning machine with the intention of starting our own carpet cleaning business. I worked for a carpet cleaning company in South Carolina for almost 2 years and I have seen my share of dirty carpets. We had trucks with truck mounted cleaning machines. So Since I moved back to Maine we decided to try starting our own business cleaning carpets. The Van I bought was not the van to be working with, it was in rough shape. I couldn't afford to buy a full vehicle mounted machine so we bought this machine. Well things didn't work out as planned. I did use the machine two times once on my apartment carpet and one with a customer who wanted a carpet cleaned in one room of their house. The machine works great it puts out plenty of water pressure and the water gets very hot. The carpet I cleaned, cleaned as good as a truck mounted machine. The difference to having this machine to a truck mounted machine is you have more water at the ready and you have a waste storage tank in the van which holds more water. This machine you have to drain the tank once it gets full. If you had additional vacuum hose you could keep it hooked up to drain with out having to empty so often. I really liked the machine and I hate to get read of it but I'm not using it. * the machine has a 13Gal. water/solution tank and a 15 Gal. Recovery Tank * 3 vacuum motors that produce 249" water lift heating. * Water pressure can be adjusted up to 500psi. * Dual heating system which allows continuous heating power. Plus it has 2 heater switches which allows you to turn off half the heater in homes with bad circuitry (i.e. old homes). This allows you to at least run half the heater instead of no heater at all, unlike other machines. * The machine has a reroute by-pass technology. * This machine has an easy slide out tray for easy access for repairs. All the guts of the machine slide out right in front of you. * Backside placement of hose connects to keep out of operators way. * Dump hose instead of a rather than a dump valve that will start to leak over time. This helps to prevent popping circuits. * This machine also came with 25' of crush-proof vacuum hose and 25' of 3000psi 275 Deg. rated high pressure water/solution hose. and a high quality, 2-jet DB S/S Wand. * We bought an additional 50' of vacuum hose and an additional 50' of high 3625psi rated 300 Deg. pressure water/solution hose, and we bought an additional 2-Jet DB S/S cleaning wand. * We bought 2 Reese Explore Load Ramps: 800 lbs per load ramp. * Additional Improvements: * Heavy Duty, Non-Marking Rear Wheels - The Eclipse's wheels were improved with heavy duty 10in wheels that provide extra strength and maneuverability. * Taller Base - The bottom black base portion of the Eclipse is now made 2in taller to provide easier slide-out access of the tray. * 4-Fan Forced Venting System - The Eclipse goes beyond just vents (like other machines) to keep the inner working area cool.
